A further exploration of “Descent” we consider bottomlessness. We feel just how low the dropoff can go. We are delivered humility by unforeseen loss. We discover beautiful pools in deep canyons for the first time and behold the view looking up from here. Human adversity and hardship lead us to muster the strength to recover and grow again. The contemplation and reflection we have in moments of deep thought and feelings.
